Borderless Sensei

Hello! My name is Lera, and I am incredibly fortunate to be both an intern at Borderless and a user of Sensei. As a digital designer, I had the honour of being responsible for the visual presence of Sensei. My goal was to make the character empathetic, funny, and friendly—qualities that the college admissions process severely lacks: the problem I am well-aware of as an international applicant myself. Applying to college is exhausting: you are clueless which sources are reliable; you do not know how to present yourself, and sometimes have to spend crazy money on 30-min talks with expensive counselors, few of whom would bring something valuable to you. I wish I had Sensei three years ago when I started my journey. Nevertheless, I am lucky to have it now. After 3 months of its usage, I am much more confident in my application than ever. It is tireless and always here when you need it. Sensei offers a fascinating guidance, and its ground-breaking character is undeniable. We, international applicants, do not need soulless services—we are craving for mentorship, community and support. Sensei provides all of these things in one place, making it a one-stop solution for anyone struggling and striving. I am very grateful for being a part of the amazing team of Borderless and an opportunity to contribute to Sensei, which is, I strongly believe, a significant milestone in democratizing studying abroad!

Hi, I'm Shun, and I'm the other maker behind Borderless. I'm really excited to share what we've been busy with for the last few months: Borderless Sensei — AI college counselor. We started Borderless because we saw the big problem of limited access to international education. We knew that college counseling could really help, but making it affordable for everyone didn’t seem possible. So we began with a platform where you can learn from the stories and advice of real students who are studying at universities all over the world. But something changed at the end of 2022. ChatGPT opened our eyes to new ways to help people, and it made us think differently about college counseling. I used to think it was too expensive for most people, like it was for me, but now it can truly become accessible for everyone in the world. I hope that with Borderless Sensei, we can truly help everyone get the chance to study abroad, and realize their potential.

Just wow, this website is insane and very effective for the students like me, who are not into having their data on many places. I joined to Borless Sensei just yesterday and was amazed to see the section, where I can build my college list. Right now I am trying the free version, but I am thinking of getting the paid version too when I have the opportunity.
