I built this tool at the end of 2021 after getting frustrated with carrying around the giant Daily Greatness book - <a href="https://dailygreatness.co/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">https://dailygreatness.co/</a> - or Monk Manual which was slightly smaller, but still too big and too spiritual for me - <a href="https://monkmanual.com/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">https://monkmanual.com/</a>. I was also inspired by my friend Orian's Art of Lifecrafting year-in-review workbooks <a href="http://www.artoflifecrafting.com/welcome/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">http://www.artoflifecrafting.com...</a> The first version was built in LaTeX which was very beautiful but absurdly hard to work with - <a href="https://github.com/blackmad/latex-yearly-planner" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">https://github.com/blackmad/late...</a>. So there's this one that's HTML which doesn't make for perfect printing but is significantly more flexible and faster to iterate on. I try to print one of these every Saturday and take time on Sunday to do planning for my week. I don't always stick with it, but when I do, I find that I am happier and also more relaxed. The flimsy ephemeral nature of the print outs is good for me because I'm not too precious with it and I throw it out at the end of the week. I sewed a custom leather cover for mine. If you love the project and ask nicely, I'll make you one.
