Wow, Jeremy! This sounds super exciting! Love the fact that you’re combining all these powerful tools into one package. It's awesome to see someone with your experience diving back into web app creation and having fun with it. Can’t wait to see how FastHTML evolves. Definitely going to give it a try!

Congratulations on your launch! Cool product btw : ) What measures have you taken to ensure that FastHTML performs well under high load? How does it compare in terms of speed and efficiency to other Python-based frameworks?

Can I be honest here for a sec? as someone who has written HTML for decades, loves it, this approach feels surreal to me at first. Why do we need a python object representation for every HTML object, when we already have... HTML? But having recently switched from a frontend/fullstack career into AI eng, and having met a LOT of ML folks who basically only know python, seeing how they all use python notebooks, seeing the success of frameworks like Gradio and Streamlit among this crown, which were NOT meant to be production ready frameworks, made me rethink my position on the need for the above tooling. @jeremy_howard is definitely represents this crowd, the folks who would prefer everything (or at least as much as possible) in Python, and if there's demand, there must be a good solution here, and I think FastHTML is definitely a step in that direction! Congrats AnswerAI for shipping this framework and on crossing 1K stars in like 17 hours? 😮 👏 I'll be building w/ FastHTML today 🔥

Congratulations @jeremy_howard on the launch of FastHTML🎉 Since most of the workload in my company is done in python, building UIs in python is the fastest way for us to test and validate our system. We have used packages like streamlit, gradio, and reflex. A little curious on how is FastHTML better than those and is it using FastAPI under the hood for the server?
