Feed is the first food-centric social commerce platform. We’re creating a community of food enthusiasts and the best independent and up-and-coming brands in the culinary space and pairing it with a fully featured e-commerce platform with D2C home delivery.
Hey Product Hunt! I'm Eva, Feed's content marketing manager. I’m so proud to support Feed as we launch on Product Hunt, and as it becomes easier every single day for more and more people to shop small, and support real, passionate makers who create feel-good food. Walking down the aisle at my closest grocery store becomes more disheartening by the day. I want to be lining Big Chip’s pockets about as much as I want to be eating Red 40, but when the only option is Nacho Cheese Doritos and its 18 respective spin-offs, it’s hard to feel like I have any choice at all. You’d be lucky to find one family-owned or minority-owned brand in any aisle. When I come to Feed, small business is all I see. Every virtual aisle is stocked with everything seasonal, new, small-batch, organic, artisanal, and socially conscious. Our social feed is full of users connecting through sharing products, thoughts, ideas, and recipes. Our marketing efforts always aim to reflect that we care deeply about where our food comes from and the people that are making it. We take pride in sharing about and spotlighting our partners and friends who have come just as long of a way as we have. Feed aims to be the simplest way for you to discover and learn about small brands and engage with people that align with your values, and we listen to feedback carefully. Tell us what you think!

Hello Product Hunt! I’m Ece Cokar, co-founder of Feed. Local, small businesses are the backbone of Feed. As we built our community, we wanted to partner with the best of the best small independent makers, organic farms, and artisanal brands. We proudly feature and support over 500 brands from across the country – with a focus on women-owned, minority-owned and socially-responsible businesses. We support and share brands and their stories to help you discover products you didn’t know you were missing and learn about who they are, what they are making, and how they are making it. We aim to be the easiest way for you to discover and learn about new products and brands, engage with vendors that align with your needs and values, and make shopping with your conscience a social affair. HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL FIND On Feed, you can shop for everything in one place – seasonal organic produce, meat & seafood, dairy, quick meals, desserts, beverages, kitchen and home goods, gifts, pet items, fresh flowers, and pantry staples. Some of our 500+ vendor partners include Gjusta (Los Angeles, CA), Dirty Girl Produce (Santa Cruz, CA), Solid Wiggles (Brooklyn, NY), Fishwife Tinned Seafood Co (Los Angeles, CA), French Squirrel, ( highlight additional hard to find/unique vendors from across US. To further foster community and highlight local chefs and purveyors, we host in-person events like cooking classes and workshops – dumpling making, mocktails, sourdough pizza, bibimbap, cheese tasting. with local chefs and purveyors throughout the Bay Area (Los Angeles is coming soon!). We are also committed to a greener world, and recently announced a new partnership with a third-party delivery company to help us reduce carbon emissions in our deliveries. With this partnership, we're able to deliver orders within hours of packing, maintaining the quality and freshness of our products, and limit our impact by sending out our orders in bulk. We're also making sure all of our produce is picked the day before delivery to ensure unmatched freshness. We continue to source and curate the best brands for Feed – let us know if you have any suggestions! Ece Cokar Feed Co-founder

Love this! Congratulations on the launch. We have similar things locally for food (Olio). Be interesting to see how Feed differentiates. Also how do you plan on aiming this to the mass market rather than the much smaller segment of local artisan producers?

I’m Onur Kardesler, one of Feed’s co-founders. I’m excited to share with you our social commerce platform, combining e-commerce and social media to create a vibrant and engaging community for foodies and support small, independent brands (over 500 to date!). Over the last two years of building Feed, we learned two important things 💡 Connection and a sense of community are vital to our health and wellbeing individually and as a collective. Food is fun! It’s a universal connector and brings people together. At Feed, we are passionate about food and community. We believe everything we eat has a story to tell – from a freshly baked loaf of sourdough to organic strawberries harvested at peak freshness – and we are on a mission to tell them all. My co-founder Ece and I both grew up in Istanbul, Turkey, and our childhoods were filled with treasured trips to the local bazaar with family, friends, and neighbors. My mother adored spending time getting to know each vendor, forever on a quest to feel connected to our community and select the best seasonal items for our family. In today’s world, we don’t always have time to visit our favorite farmer’s market, butcher, coffee shop, or bakeshop. Online grocery shopping provides incredible convenience and access, but virtual shopping can be a solitary, monotonous experience. And many of the small farms, local purveyors, and artisanal food brands we love can be hard to locate online, let alone all in one place. WHAT FEED DELIVERS 🚚 With Feed, we aim to create a place where we can share our stories and connect with people over food. Being a part of Feed means: Discovering amazing new producers, recipes, and flavors alongside your friends and other like-minded community members. Sharing your experiences and recent finds. Supporting local businesses, forging connections, and bonding through food. Feed’s app harnesses the best parts of social media – increasing connectivity, building community, finding inspiration, and sharing knowledge and creativity – to create a positive and engaged platform centered around a shared love of food and support of the small, independent businesses that are passionate about their products. HOW IT WORKS 👇 Download the app. 📱 Use code producthunt25 for 25% off your first purchase. Find it. 🔎 Scroll our dynamic social feed and discover the best artisanal and small batch makers. See what other people are saying about their most recent finds and view posts from the vendors themselves. Taste it. 🥖 Shop directly from the feed and get these hard-to-find products delivered straight to your door. Share it. 😍 Add to the feed by posting about your experiences and purchases with reviews, shared carts, photos and videos – providing a richer experience for other users who are looking for their next great find. 💰 Every time you leave a review on an item you've purchased, you'll get $1 in Feed credit. 💰 Upload photos or videos to the in-app feed, and tag products you've used. When someone shops an item from your post, you'll earn 10% of that item's value in Feed credit. Play Feed Orchard. 🌳 Our in-app game further fosters community engagement and earns users free organic fruit. Choose your favorite seasonal fruit from our farm partners, plant a seed, and as you post, comment and leave reviews in the app, you’re rewarded with water to grow your tree. When your tree is grown, harvest it for real fruit delivered with your next order. My co-founder Ece will share more about how Feed supports independent brands and gives them a platform to tell their stories, grow their business, and connect directly with customers. Feed is now delivering to customers across California! Download Feed app on the App Store or Google Play. Use code producthunt25 for 25% off your first purchase. Feed’s community is available to everyone, everywhere! Download Feed app on the App Store or Google Play. We can’t wait for you to join our community! We’d love to hear your feedback and questions as we continue to grow. Onur Kardesler Feed Co-founder
