Taking inspiration from @krolsbjorn and @marckohlbrugge, I'm excited to announce the launch of <a href="http://handlemonitor.com" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">http://handlemonitor.com</a> - a new service that helps you track the availability of Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok handles. The service is pay-as-you-go, with a charge of 1 USD per month for monitoring each handle every hour. There's no maximum limit on the number of handles you can check. The site is built using Twitter's free API and two paid APIs (Instagram and TikTok), and is built on old school php. Currently, the site doesn't have a payment option yet, but I'm hoping to learn and implement Stripe subscriptions within the next 7 days. I'm also planning to switch from Gmail SMTP to @postmarkapp for email notifications and possibly offer text notifications, but I'm not sure how many people would be willing to share their phone number.
