Maybe implement a feature to verify the sender's email address? Without such a verification, it could be easy for someone to impersonate others and send deceptive messages. Moreover, the current design might not effectively prevent common issues like Nigerian spam or more advanced BEC emails, which could pose a significant security risk

First of all, the behavior of converting emails into link addresses is really cool. I hope to customize my email links to make them look like they represent me. Secondly, protecting personal privacy is very important. Many junk emails make me very annoyed. I hope to be compatible with various account registration processes in the future, and I hope to use my email links on major platforms.

I am confused about how this is any different than using a contact form? Like I can just say “email me here: <a href="https://mywebsite/contact" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">https://mywebsite/contact</a>” instead of “email me here: <a href="https://hey.new/yyy" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">https://hey.new/yyy</a>”

I like the simplicity of the interface - beautifully done. :) My question is - what about the use cases that sit in between a big email list and a personal email? So if I wanted to email all my investors, for example, would it be a lot more annoying to have a different workflow to email you due to the friction put in place?
