Using robust data and AI search, HUSSLUP is a professional network that connects creative freelancers with each other and with the entertainment companies that need to staff them. Freelancers fast-forward their careers and companies save time and money.
I am one of those 10.000 early betas and I must say the community is nice at Husslup. So, hope to see more people over there.

There is an assumption on the part of many Social platforms, Job platforms, etc. that it's possible or desirable to "go generic": Achieve a larger market by supporting these features (Connections, Communications, Job Posting, Job Searches, etc.) across an and all industries. For some industries that may work. But for others - and the Entertainment Industry definitely qualifies - the community and the work ecosystem (jobs, freelance, etc.) demand a careful focus on that industry alone. HUSSLUP has implemented just that kind of focus, serving this industry with a rich understanding of what it needs, what it does not need, its business sensitivities, and goals. When you use the product, you feel the ties to the Entertainment world that you won't find elsewhere - across the People on the platform, the voice of the management, and, most importantly, the functionality of the Product. This is the way you serve an industry and the people in it!

Ok, so I'm CTO of HUSSLUP and therefore biased. So I'll also keep it short. As someone who oversaw staffing technologies at WB, who was CTO at MTV Networks, and CTO at Grindr, I have a weird mix of understanding when it comes to the needs of the Entertainment Business, and the needs of individuals. At HUSSLUP, we work hard to focus exclusively in that space, with an intuitive Product and Platform. Please check us out. This is the industry where we live. These are the people we're serving.

As a Hollywood professional and freelancer the name is a big turn off. It speaks to hustle culture, exactly the thing that most people who have gone freelance left their 9-to-5 to avoid.
