I love Pickaxe - the name, the interface and increasingly the team behind the product. The name clicked for me that RAG systems are all about information mining, which is exactly how I approach all kinds of knowledge work in my day-job. The interface is a no-code layer to build custom-GPTs yes; sure you could already do that to some extent with ChatGPT-Plus, but the Pickaxe interface offers just enough QoL and cutsomisation and clever features that it is by far a more pleasurable experience. The fact that I can monetise each GPT with granular control is just icing on the cake. And finally the team - having chatted with Ian and Mike in recent weeks - I really like how approachable they are, and I m quite impressed with the fresh teists they have on the roadmap each time a new feature is unveiled. Wishing the team a lot of luck, but I'm hanging on to my Gold subscription.

I've been a Pickaxe user for a few months now and I've created a slew of tools that have helped me out a ton. My most notable one and one I use often is a document interpretation tool. Making tools on pickaxe is a breeze. You have a few options to pick from, my favorite is the AI builder, where it builds the tool for you and you can fine tune it later if necessary. I've recommeneded this product to others and will continue to do so, especially with the launch of pickaxe studio!
