*Increasing the discount for Product Hunt people!* Use code PRODUCTHUNT70 for 70% off forever. That code is good until Saturday 1/21/23. TL;DR: Monthly subscription of info on recently funded companies’ employees so you can market to them. Hey everyone, I’m Stuart, a serial startup guy, and this is my fifth product I’ve put onto Product Hunt. You may remember me from my original Product Hunt hit, startupresources.io I’ve been working on an email research tool for the last year, and I’m now using it to build out a database of recently funded companies and their employees: saasyDB What is it? saasyDB is a monthly subscription of recently funded company info (including funding round info, and social media profiles), along with their current employee profiles, which include names, locations, job titles, LinkedIn URLs, and verified company email addresses. What do you get? On signup, you get the last two months’ worth of data, and I’ll send out the fresh month’s data in the first week of the month, every month. Prospects at companies who have had a fresh influx of cash, delivered straight to your inbox monthly, ready to feed into your email marketing campaigns. Type of companies range from SaaS and tech, to non-profits, healthcare, e-commerce, really any company who had a published funding round. November data had 478 companies and about 9,000 employee profiles, while December data had 774 companies and nearly 24,000 employee profiles (I improved my processes, resulting in more companies and employees, and I continue to work on my systems) Data is delivered in CSV files. How is this different than other similar subscriptions? I know there has been a recent hunt of a similar company, but saasyDB stands out by the sheer volume of employee profiles provided. Other services provide only a couple email address per company, while I can provide dozens or hundreds per company, and in all sorts of job titles, from marketing to HR to engineers to C-Suite to Founders. Where does the data come from? I get data from various databases that curate information on funding rounds, and put that through my own tools to find employee information, then use my own algorithm to find non-published company email addresses. I then package it all up monthly, for you. These are not just pulled from Apollo or Hunter or other tools. Generally, my system finds way more contacts per company than those databases will have. What’s the cost and are there discounts for PH folks? I recently raised the prices to $199 per month, and $1799 per year, but Product Hunt people can use the code PRODUCTHUNT50 to get half off the monthly subscription forever (including future versions of the site (see below)). And if you’re interested in the annual subscription, you can go nuts and get it for just $599 instead of $1799 per year with the code PRODUCTHUNTANNUAL599 Why did I build this? I’m experimenting with business models, and what I can do with my own research tools, and I thought niche databases would be fun to pursue, and this one seemed like something that startup people would want the most, and I love the startup scene. Plus I have a screen printing business as well that I started in 2006, and want to pitch all the recently funded companies on fresh swag, so I am dogfooding my own service. What are the future plans for saasyDB? This is just version 1, as I plan to build out a searchable database of SaaS and tech companies, with their employees, and include info on recently funded companies too, of course.
