The new Shortwave AI Email Assistant is the ultimate search, analysis, and productivity companion, built right into your email app. Version 2.0 is dramatically smarter, faster, and more capable. Stop copy-pasting emails into ChatGPT, and just ask the AI.
the ability to write full emails in seconds and instantly find anything with the search feature is a total great. The scheduling feature is super handy too. This is definitely going to help streamline my email workflow.

Sure, another AI email assistant, but how do you handle security with all that contextual data pulled in? Maybe consider an offline mode or local processing for sensitive info, I mean, what happens if the AI misinterprets my drafting preferences? Also, any chance we'll see a feature to automatically detect and redirect spam or phishing attempts?

This could be effective for my team. We spend a lot of time searching for information in emails.

Honestly, while the AI improvements sound great in theory, I'm a bit skeptical about its real-world practicality, AI handling personal style and tasks like meeting scheduling sounds ambitious but might end up being more of a hassle than actually doing it yourself, plus integrating more data sources could be a privacy headache, but hey if it actually works as described it could potentially save time and boost productivity, though I'm on the fence about it.

This AI sounds like it could be both a game-changer and a time-waster, we'll see how it handles my cluttered inbox though, how secure is it with accessing all this personal info, I mean cool idea but kinda concerned, anyone tried it yet?

Hey, interesting update here, but honestly, the whole AI assistant thing just feels like another layer of complexity, and it might be overwhelming for some, maybe streamline it a bit more, also the idea of it reading everything sounds kinda invasive, feels like privacy is getting traded for convenience, thoughts?

I’ve been a fan of Gmail for a while, but Shortwave adds that extra layer of productivity with its splits and AI tools. Kudos to the e team

I stumbled on this from a friend's recommendation and I'm not completely sold on the 2.0 upgrade yet, while it's cool that it uses the latest tech and all that hype, I'm wondering if it really makes my daily grind any easier, especially since I'm still having to manually check stuff sometimes Would love to see more practical examples of how this thing can actually save me time instead of adding more screen time, also curious if there's any plan to better integrate it with other productivity tools we already use or an option to make it less intrusive

The fact that Shortwave integrates with calendars and allows you to schedule emails is a huge plus.
