Is digitally editing background allowed for visa photos? I read somewhere that that in itself invalidates the photo. On a sidenote - I had taken a photo myself last week, with a white background. Sent it to Amazon Photo for printing. ~20 cents per 4x6 print. They sent back photo with highly tinted blue background. Seems like someone intentionally ruined the photo so that I don't get visa photo in 20 cents. Similar to what Walgreens does. Walgreens won't let you print a collage of passport / visa photos for the normal 4x6 print price. They say since it is passport photo, you have to pay $17.
