Great idea - where do you think it will first be most useful? Stock photography is currently broken for many use cases. The chances that an existing image is exactly the one you need are low for most everyday uses. For example - say I want a picture for a blog post, of a person on a video-conference on their laptop, looking confused about how to use the software. Unsplash is great, but I can get people looking confused at laptops, people on video-conferences, people on laptops, some with screens, some without, but not the full enchilada. I need a new specific image, and it seems a good bet that AI could do the job, probably faster and cheaper than a crowd-sourced new photo shoot, or photoshop session. Others (@chrismessina ) have already commented on the ethical and legal issues. I imagine Getty Images will react if many use this to adapt one of their images and not pay them a license. It seems a smart move for existing stock photography players to lean into AI generation as Shutterstock has done, leveraging their catalog as training data, rather than trying to hold back the AI tide, which offers such benefits to their customers. @olivergoodwin What types of photos and use cases would you say synthesis-x works best for at the moment? I found it struggled with people, regular patterns, reflections. Hello Friend. In my term as a creativ I pay for other peoples work! Payment is part of the future of free Artists. But I think monetary is much too much in the Frontend. And I miss compliance to the rules of most in the commercial related contracts. The startups from once were overhauled to slot machines everywhere. And good ideas never get relived for the people. Like in Hospitals is not about health so If you ask me is the old rule authentic invented I pay. But for example Adobe Apps only Abo? DreMweaver Flash PDF MP3 in it s great inventory has nothing to do with monthly payments and restrictions after Editing. I never gave my CD vinyl away… and now they give me right. Now! But chatHPT is a stunning fine work.. and it is cloned to its badness already try Google pay support and you will give me right. I hate what they made out of my internet
