Web automations suck to build and maintain, yet engineering teams find themselves having to build them from scratch, over and over. We've built Web Action SDK to make it simple to create web automations for popular sites like LinkedIn, Amazon, Uber, and more.
This sounds intriguing! I'm curious about how you envision the Web Action SDK changing the landscape for developers. With so many popular sites involved, how do you handle potential changes in their APIs or structures? Also, any thoughts on the scalability of this SDK for larger organizations? I'm wondering if it can support B2B use cases effectively. Looking forward to seeing how @samuel_crombie and the team at Actionbase tackle these challenges!

Hey Samuel, cool idea but gotta wonder what happens when LinkedIn or Amazon change their layout, are we gonna have to rewrite everything, also any plans on optimizing for bulk actions—thinking about scalability here, could be a real pain dealing with B2B clients who require high volume operations too, any thoughts?

Congrats @samuel_crombie and Adam on launching the Web Action SDK! It’s a game-changer for those of us tired of the endless cycle of building automations from scratch. The focus on reducing tech debt while streamlining processes is so necessary in today's fast-paced development environment. Can’t wait to try it out! 🚀

Saw this through a friend's recommendation honestly I think it tries to solve a problem that shouldn't exist, building web automations can be a nightmare but do we really need yet another tool for it? How does this handle custom websites, can it be extended easily, would be nice to see more specific examples not just the big names like LinkedIn or Amazon

Really hoping this won't become another tool that developers have to constantly babysit, if the API changes on these popular sites break the automations all the time, this could be more of a hassle, also wondering if it’s gonna handle large-scale use cases or just small projects for now 🤔
