It reads with a great time-saver to be able to browser YouTube videos vertically. This looks like it would make looking for specific material in lengthy films lot easier, which is something I do quite frequently.

Thank you all for your interest and feedback. Although I'm not very familiar with the ProductHunt community and couldn't respond to all the feedback promptly, your opinions have been incredibly valuable to me. Despite an overwhelming workload in my main job, I've managed to improve the product, and I'd like to share this update with you: We addressed an issue where zoetroView's controller couldn't keep up with the video when users weren't interacting, causing the video to rewind upon scrolling. This was a problem I wanted to solve before launch. Despite multiple attempts with GPT's help, initial fixes resulted in video stuttering, compromising the viewing experience. As a result, I prioritized smooth scrolling for launch. After receiving similar feedback from various communities, I prioritized this issue during a holiday break. The solution involved adjusting the update priority between scrolling and YouTube's progress bar based on the user's mouse position. GPT4 was instrumental in quickly developing this fix. For those interested in developing with GPT, here are some tips I've learned: Simply describing the problem and asking GPT for improvements isn't enough. As an owner, you need to lead with ideas for problem-solving. Discussing potential solutions with GPT beforehand is highly beneficial. Try starting a new chat to share user feedback and discuss improvement strategies, rather than continuing in a code-focused conversation.

Awesome job! Scrolling through videos instead of dealing with playback controls is a real helpful.A question is that Is there an option to adjust the scrolling speed or customize the viewer interface?

I really appreciate the idea of making YouTube browsing feel more like reading a blog post. It’s often frustrating to wait for playback just to find a small piece of information. I’m curious, does it support playlists as well? That would be a great way to speed up my research process.
